There are a lot of teachers offering guitar lessons in Portland, Oregon.
I’m sure there are plenty of great ones. But some teachers might be perfect for some students, and not quite right for others. Regardless, having so many different options can make it difficult to choose.
When choosing a guitar instructor, it’s important to make sure they’re the right teacher for you. If you want to rock, and they want to force you to learn “Mary Had a Little Lamb,” you’re probably not going to be too inspired to learn. If you want to play metal, and your teacher is an old-school blues dude, it might not be the best fit. You get the idea.
That’s why your first guitar lesson with me will be free. It will give us a chance to introduce ourselves, without any pressure. I’ll learn about your musical goals, start thinking of ways to help you reach them, and give you an introductory lesson to get you started. You can decide whether you feel I’m the best person to help you get where you want to go.
If you’re on the fence about starting guitar lessons, why not get in touch for a free session? You’ve got nothing to lose but the dust on your guitar.
“He is very knowledgeable and a great player, but not all great guitarists are great teachers. Rick is definitely a great teacher as well, and worth every penny.” -Lauren A.
